HP Tuners GM E68 ECM Service (Global B)

HP Tuners’ one-time send-in upgrade service for the GM Global B E68 ECM. This service is required to enable HP Tuners diagnostics and custom tuning access through VCM Suite BETA on supported E68-equipped Corvette applications.

This is a send-in service. The vehicle’s original E68 ECM must be removed and shipped to HP Tuners for upgrading. Do not substitute or temporarily relearn a spare ECM while the original controller is away for service.

• 2023–2026 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 5.5L LT6
• 2025–2026 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 5.5L Twin-Turbo LT7 V8

What You Need

1. This one-time GM E68 ECM Service (Global B).
2. The latest version of HP Tuners VCM Suite BETA.
3. 10 HP Tuners Universal Credits to license the upgraded E68 ECM/vehicle. Credits are sold separately.
4. An HP Tuners MPVI4 interface. MPVI2, MPVI2+, and MPVI3 interfaces are not compatible with Global B E68 support.

Service Notes

• The original E68 ECM must return to the same vehicle it came from.
• No IMMO relearn, crank relearn, or “Replace ECM” function in VCM Scanner is required when the upgraded original ECM is reinstalled in the same vehicle.
• Once upgraded, calibration, scanning, and data logging are performed through the OBDII port using an MPVI4 and the latest VCM Suite BETA.
• Dealer diagnostic tools and VCM Scanner continue to function normally after the upgrade.
• HP Tuners recommends reading and clearing DTCs with the latest VCM Scanner after reinstalling the upgraded ECM.
• No other tuning or calibration tools should be used with the upgraded ECM.
• The latest VCM Suite can be used to return the vehicle to stock calibration or update to the latest stock calibration.
• Processing time does not include shipping time. Service turnaround varies, so current processing estimates should be confirmed at the time of service.

How It Works

Step 1: Confirm that your vehicle is supported and purchase this service.

Step 2: Download and complete the HP Tuners Controller Upgrade Service Shipping Form and place it inside the package.

Step 3: Remove the original E68 ECM and package it securely.

Step 4: Write your order number clearly on the outside of the shipping box.

Step 5: Ship the ECM to HP Tuners using the carrier of your choice. Shipping to HP Tuners is the customer’s responsibility.

Step 6: HP Tuners upgrades the ECM for tuning and diagnostics and ships it back after service.

Step 7: Reinstall the upgraded ECM, license it with 10 Universal Credits, read/clear DTCs, and begin tuning with an MPVI4 and VCM Suite BETA.

Customers are responsible for shipping costs when sending the controller to HP Tuners. The shipping charge associated with the service covers return shipment after the controller has been upgraded.

Important: Any HP Tuners hardware ordered with this service may ship together with the upgraded ECM. If you need other hardware sooner, order it separately to avoid potential delays.

Important

This service modifies the original vehicle controller. Controller services are performed at the owner’s risk, and the vehicle may in some cases require dealer-level resynchronization after service. Because of the factory mounting location, E68 ECMs may also show normal signs of weathering or wear.
