HP Tuners Powersports MG1 ECM Service

HP Tuners’ one-time send-in ECM upgrade service for select powersports vehicles equipped with the MG1 ECM. Once upgraded, supported vehicles can be licensed, tuned, scanned, and data logged with VCM Suite using the appropriate HP Tuners interface and OBDII adapter cable.

Service Options

• Polaris / Indian Motorcycle: $99.99
• Can-Am / Sea-Doo / Ski-Doo: $149.99

For either manufacturer group, select whether the ECM currently contains a Stock Calibration or Custom Calibration.

Requirements

• Confirm that the application uses an MG1 ECM and requires this service before ordering.
• Polaris and Indian applications require the HP Tuners Polaris/Indian OBDII Adapter Cable.
• Can-Am, Sea-Doo, and Ski-Doo applications require the HP Tuners BRP OBDII Adapter Cable.
• Interface-generation requirements vary by application. Many newer MG1 applications require MPVI3 or newer; verify compatibility for the specific model.
• Universal Credits are required separately for licensing.
• This service is not for Honda powersports models.

Shipping

Remove and safely package the MG1 ECM and include the required HP Tuners controller service shipping form. Write the order number visibly on the outside of the package.

Customers are responsible for inbound shipping. Shipping charged at checkout covers return shipping after the ECM has been upgraded.

Important: ECMs must be fully functional and free of significant physical damage. Controllers with broken locking tabs or connectors are not accepted for upgrade.
