Trade in a previous-generation HP Tuners interface for the latest-generation MPVI4. This send-in upgrade is available for MPVI, MPVI2, MPVI2+, and MPVI3 devices, including Standard and Pro versions.

This is a trade-in service. Your old interface must be shipped to HP Tuners and will not be returned. Instead, HP Tuners will transfer eligible vehicle licenses and remaining credits to a new MPVI4.

How It Works

  1. Make sure the interface being upgraded is registered to your HP Tuners account.
  2. Before shipping, connect the old device and resync it in VCM Editor using Help > Resync Interface.
  3. Ship the old interface to HP Tuners using the address below.
  4. HP Tuners transfers eligible credits and vehicle licenses from the functional trade-in device to the new MPVI4.

Important: A non-functional trade-in device may prevent HP Tuners from transferring stored credits or vehicle licenses.

Wi-Fi capability is built into MPVI4 hardware and is planned for activation through a future firmware update.

PROLINK+

PROLINK+ is not included with this interface upgrade, including upgrades from previous Pro devices. It is not required to use MPVI4. If needed, purchase HP Tuners PROLINK+ separately.

Please allow at least 3 business days for the transfer process, not including shipping time. Customers are responsible for shipping the trade-in device to HP Tuners. The shipping charge associated with this service covers shipment of the new MPVI4 back to you.

Important Notes

  • This upgrade is available for MPVI, MPVI2, MPVI2+, and MPVI3 devices.
  • Your old interface is permanently surrendered as part of the trade-in.
  • Vehicle licenses and credits are transferred only when they can be recovered from the trade-in interface.
