HP Tuners’ one-time send-in upgrade service for the Tremec T46 transmission controller used in supported Chevrolet Corvette C8 applications. Once upgraded, the original T46 TCM can be licensed and tuned using HP Tuners VCM Suite.

Requirements

  • Your vehicle’s original T46 TCM must be sent in for this upgrade service.
  • Compatible with HP Tuners MPVI4 only.
  • Latest version of VCM Suite BETA required.
  • Requires 6 HP Tuners Universal Credits for licensing. Credits are sold separately.
  • Remote tuning workflows are supported through RTD4 and the Tune Delivery Network (TDN).

HP Tuners service and shipping

Before shipping: PowerLabs will provide your HP Tuners order number and service-specific shipping instructions after arranging the service. Wait for those instructions before shipping. Use the HP Tuners order number we provide on the required shipping form and package; your PowerLabs order number is not the HP Tuners shipping reference.

After ordering, remove and safely package only the original T46 TCM. Include the required HP Tuners controller service shipping form and write the HP Tuners order number provided by PowerLabs clearly on the outside of the package.

Customers are responsible for inbound shipping to HP Tuners. Shipping charged at checkout covers return shipping after the controller has been upgraded. Processing time does not include transit time.

Important: This is an upgrade-only service and does not include a replacement TCM. Do not send mounting hardware, brackets, fasteners, wiring, or other vehicle components with the controller. Controllers with significant physical damage, broken connectors, water intrusion, or evidence of prior repair attempts may not be eligible for service.

PowerLabs submits the supplier order within two business days after receiving payment and all required information. HP Tuners controls its service queue. Ship supplier-performed services directly to HP Tuners, not to PowerLabs.
