Prepare a supported Dodge, Jeep, or RAM vehicle equipped with a GPEC4 PCM for custom tuning with HP Tuners VCM Suite. This one-time upgrade service is required before the supported GPEC4 PCM can be tuned.

Supported Applications

  • 2022–2023 RAM Rampage 2.0L GME Hurricane I4
  • 2023–2024 Dodge Hornet 2.0L GME Hurricane I4
  • 2018–2021 Jeep Wrangler 2.0L GME Hurricane I4

Upgrade Service

Send HP Tuners an original, spare, or new GPEC4 PCM for upgrading. Spare and new PCMs require an HP Tuners/RTD file. VIN information is required where applicable.

Additional Requirements

  • All supported applications require the HP Tuners Dodge Smart Access Cable.
  • RAM Rampage and Dodge Hornet require an MPVI3 or newer device.
  • 2018–2021 Jeep Wrangler 2.0L is compatible with MPVI2 or newer.
  • Universal Credits are required separately for licensing.
  • Latest VCM Suite BETA is recommended.

Shipping

Upgrade-service customers are responsible for safely packaging and shipping the PCM to HP Tuners. Include the required controller service shipping form and write the order number visibly on the outside of the package.

Important: Send only the PCM. PCMs with broken locking tabs or connectors are not accepted for upgrade.
